Captiva is known for its shells. So we took walks on the beach...
Some of us liked them more than others
The weather was overcast and a little rainy, which turned out to be great, not too hot and a more relaxing atmosphere. But we did get a little time at the beach!
We woke Addy up to go watch fireworks on the beach
But she warmed right up and started waving at all the people and fireworks.
After only 3 days, we found ourselves totally in love with the Captiva/Sanibel area. A great little get away for the 3 of us. We hope to go back many many more times.

I love the arm bands (bracelets?) in those first couple pics. She is so hip.
So cute... sorry I hadn't looked at these sooner. I was too busy being jealous that your blog was more up to date than mine! I love the cloudy weather for the great pics you were able to capture!
