Ok, that is sarcasm, folks. We loved having our family around. All the hugging and kissing, aka passing of germs. After everyone was gone, Addy came down with a fever that night. So we called the doc and they said to take her to the ER. Yippee!!! At the ER they said her white blood cell count was high, they did a lumbar puncture and a culture to rule out a number of really really bad things. BUT the culture took 48 hours to mature and therefore, they had to admit us. Super.
So her parent's felt like this....

and generally thought the whole thing was hilarious!!!
Luckily, all the tests came back negative and she basically just had a bad chest cold.
