Grammy's visit

Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of the month my mom spent with us in Miami. My mom graciously offered to come take care of Addy the first month I went back to work. It was great to have mom around and to have her share in our lives here in Miami. She helped us with so many things when she was here, it was a total blessinng. Thanks Mom!

Grammy bought Addy her jumper gym when she was here. This is now where Addy resides most of the time when she is awake. She loves it!
Too much flash mom!!!

New Kitchen!!!

We finally bit the bullet and renovated our kitchen. We knew it had to be done if we wanted to sell our place and we figured we should enjoy it before we had to sell it. It was a massive headache while it was going on but we love it now!!!!

Pre-demo, we did have more decorations around the kitchen but this is before we ripped it down!
All the stuff from the kitchen in the dining room.
After cabinet removal

New stuff going in!!!!Ta-da!!!!!

No more bi-fold doors, Kelly's favorite part of the kitchen!

Eventually we're going to frame some of our photos for the wall and add some new blinds.

National Championship, Gators vs. Sooners

For those of you who don't know, January 8th divided my family. My mother, sister, and brother in law all went to the University of Oklahoma while I went to the University of Florida. So the college football national championship pitted us against each other for the first time. My dad has been a loyal follower of both teams due to his family ties. He always said if they met in a bowl, we would go. Little did he know that it would be the National Championship! My dad was very generous and bought tickets for Sarah, Ron and I. It was truly one of the greatest experiences ever. Not just because of the final outcome (Gators won 24-14) but because I got to spend it with my family. Thanks Dad, you're the greatest!

Sorority sisters: Jessie, Amy, and Tiffany

Jack Beldon and DadThis was taken before the game but obviously I was the good luck charm for the Gators.

Dad changed his hat every quarter. Here he is after the game with with winning hat on.

Child Abuse

My parents came for the BCS National Championship game. I came home from work one day and my child was dressed in this horrendous outfit!!!!
Because I love my mother, I allowed it. But I softened the ugliness with these classy socks.
Don't worry, on January 8th, she was dressed appropriately.
PS. As you can see, we've done some serious work in our kitchen. This is a preview. There will be a much lengthier blog about this soon (aka when everything is done).

Ahoy matey!

What better way to ring in the new year than in a place you wish you were all the time?! We headed down to Cudjoe Key with the Fritz family again.

The nursery

She wasn't too fond of the life preserver but once the boat got going and the bouncey seat got rocking, she was out. Who knew a bouncey seat was such an important piece of boating equipment!!!Future love match? Addy looks pretty happy with the situation!

One of my favorite sights.

Old friends

Kelly had a great time catching up with Randy, Stewart, and Arthur while we were in Jacksonville. These guys used to carpool to elementary school together. It was lots of fun hearing them talk about things they did as kids.

Christmas 2008

We spent Christmas in Jacksonville with the Barnett family this year. Its always exciting to be around Rhett and Bradley, especially after Santa arrives.
I just got a new lens for the camera so hopefully we'll have less red-eye and blurriness in 2009.
Serious drool monkey.
Checking out the Christmas tree with Dad.
Its always good to spend time with Grandpa!
Rhett and Bradley got new scooters for Christmas
Addy is amazed!
